5 tips to stop procrastinating!πŸ™‡πŸ»πŸ™‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Hey guys!!

For me, school has started and I am back to my boring study schedule! So, a common thing most students( as well as people who work!) do is procrastinating!

1.the action of delaying or postponing something.
I also had the habit of procrastinating my work, but, it has caused me a lot of trouble. To give an end to this problem, I came up with some tips during my summer break. I found them quite useful and the main thing is that they worked very well for me. ( Me, being a person, who could not stick to anything!)
  • Keep a small notepad and stick to writing to-do lists.

This is a tip, I, personally follow a lot. What I do, is, I keep a bullet journel and at the back cover, I stick about 10-15 post-it’s in that. It saves a lot of time, instead of trying to remember every other thing that happend in class(or at work)

  • Always be a good listener.

This is a good tip I would recommend. Listen to what your teacher (or employer!) says to you. If you know what all to do that day, you won’t have the tendency to procrastinate.

  • IMP!! Keep track of your dates!!

This is the most important tip of the 5. Always have a calender, planner or a mobile date tracker in hand. This will help you very much if you are a person, who get loads homeworks and projects everyday and have the need to migrate your work. Plan all your days according to your time and convenience.

  • Set reminders for every tasks.

Setting reminders enables you to do your work and also relax and spend quality Me-time. Set reminders for everything- to buy groceries, do your homework, clean the cat litter and so on…

Last tip on the list…….

  • Don’t keep your tasks for the previous day of submission!!

If you have followed all the tips above and have missed out on this, then you are on the wrong side of the blog. This is a common mistake that most people make. If this is your plan, you will have a situation like this-

Your reminder for your math test goes of at 5:00. You sit down for studying and you will find that, your test portions are much more than expected. You run down the pages and the clock slowly ticks to 10, then 12, then atlast, you hit your bed at 3! “Oh, now I can have a relaxing sleep”, you fall on to the bed amd gets up after 3 hours of bad sleep. You reach school soo droopy, that you fall of the desk!!

       The End..

I know this is a worse situation, so don’t delay your work soo much, that you fall of your desk the next day!!

These were some of my tips and tricks to stop procrastinating!! Hope they help you a lot!!
Comment down below, if you have ever slept in class!! Also, tell me how do you prevent procrastination!!

    1. These are great tips, Mila!! Organization is key. I would recommend doing or starting to prepare every homework or assignment as soon as you get it. You can hand it out early or on time and maybe even ask for more as extra credit. You should also divide your materials for revision. If you have 100 pages to review for a certain test, start revising early enough so that you can do maybe less than 10 pages each day and that you can come back to things if you need a second or third revision πŸ™‚ These are my tips, as a college student and teacher. I hope they’re helpful ❀
